What is an Art Ala Carte class like?

In a casual, relaxed, stress-free setting, an artist instructor will lead you step-by-step through the evening’s featured painting. Whether you are a seasoned artist or an aspiring one, this is the place for you to let go, be creative, and learn in a supportive environment. A relaxed attitude and willingness to experiment freely are the most important components in creating your work of art! If you are an experienced artist, feel free to let go and take your painting wherever your creativity leads you!

How do I sign up for a class?

Go to our Calendar page and click on the image you would like to paint (on the date and time you want to come). You will be directed to our "Register Page", Or, you can click on "Sign Up Now" anytime you are ready to register. You will need to fill out the registration page with your information including your credit card to reserve your seat.

Why do I have to reserve my seat in advance?

The process of registering for an Art Ala Carte class is similar to buying theater or sporting event tickets online: you decide when you want to go, select the date, and reserve your seat with your credit card. You can decide on your payment method (credit, cash, or check) when you arrive for your class. We will not charge your credit card; it is only a reservation to hold your seat. Your online reservation via your credit card is fast, easy, and secure. It will also guarantee that your registration is processed immediately. And, unlike other online ticket purchases, you can change or cancel your reservation without penalty up until the day prior to your class.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, checks, and cash.

What is the cost?

Monday – Thursday classes are $35.00 per person.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday classes are $40.00 per person.

Adult day classes with instructor are $35 per person.

Children’s weekend & summer classes, ages 5 and up, are $30 per person.

What is included in the price?

Each attendee will be provided with canvas, easel, apron, paint, and brushes.

What time should I arrive for my class?

Evening classes start promptly at 6:30. Please arrive within 20 – 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. This will enable you to pay and secure the seat of your choice prior to your class.

What should I wear?

Wear anything comfortable. We do provide aprons, so don’t worry if you come straight from work.

When do you post the new monthly calendar?

New paintings from each of our artist instructors and event schedules are posted by the middle of the preceding month.

I missed a painting I really wanted to paint. Do you repeat paintings?

Call us or send us an email @ info.artalacarte.me. Let us know what you are looking for and we will keep you in mind when we schedule next month’s paintings. Better yet, put together a group of 10 or more participants and you can select a painting for your Private Party! Call or email us for details!
